A stats refresher, not an R book.

This is a useful stats primer for life scientists. It is not primarily an R book. All examples in the book make use of an R point-and-click GUI, 'R commander', which is useful, but will teach you nothing about scripting in R. That said, the book is a good general purpose stats refresher, with clear explanations of the theory behind hypothesis testing and the like. It is also fairly brief.
