Short On Practice Problems

I homeschool two boys and we have previously used the Spectrum series of workbooks for math.
The Good
This book is colorful and well laid out. It is easy to understand as it provides clear, easy to follow examples using relatively large font size for this type of workbook.
The Bad
Each lesson really only comes with a few practice problems. We were disappointed with the amount of practice this book provides. Further, the pages are not perforated which makes it more difficult to tear them out, the Spectrum workbooks we have used are perforated.
Summary
I am a big believer in practice makes perfect and this workbook just does not cut it when it comes to providing enough practice questions. I also like to tear the pages out to prevent my boys from looking at the answer sheet while doing their daily work, which this book makes difficult. I will definitely not purchase workbooks from this publisher again in the future. I will likely go ahead and order the Spectrum series again and consider this a lesson learned.

Keeps their brain active.

This is a very good book to keep your child's brain active during the summer months. My daughter does a few pages everyday and never complains.

Good book

I like the layout of this book. I homeschool and am using this series to bring my son up to speed in math. He likes it much better then previous large daunting textbook.
